• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Supply of 630 KVA Sound Proof Generator with Truck. Tender Document Cost 60 JD. Scope of Supply should include: Diesel generator set shall be capable of accepting 630 K.V.A stand by rated load for operation on an ambient of 50 degrees Centigrade. The engine and alternator shall be a complete package on its base plate made of heavy duty fabricated high quality steel with anti-vibration mountings. The front of the diesel engine shall include a radiator & pusher fan. The Radiator shall be heavy duty radiator with fan and shall be engine driven. The cooling system shall be complete requiring no external components. i.e.: feed pumps, tanks etc., the set has to withstand dusty environments. Whole being mounted on a suitable sound proof canopy fitted on portable Truck. The generator set should be enclosure type (sound proof).  Specification: Diesel Engine: 1. The engine shall be made (UK, USA), The diesel engine of the stationary heavy duty, turbo charged compression/ignition, multi cylinder 4 stroke operation. The steel base frame shall be provided with spring type vibration isolators. The engine shall be able to deliver full load in the shortest possible time after start. Suitable for continuous operation at 1500 r.p.m., and shall comply to IS 10002, BS 5514, DIN 6271, IS 3046.The engine construction shall be in such a way as to allow for dismantling of any engine component for inspection or repair without undue complication i.e. without dismantling of other non-defective parts. The crank case shall be provided with inspection windows. 2. Governor: Electronic engine controller with digital metering, Woodward preferred, capable of taking partly & fully rated load. 3. Starting System: 12 / 24VDC Electric starting system by means of battery of the lead acid type batteries, engine mounted charging alternator with ammeter and starter motor engaging with fly wheel. 5. Exhaust system: The engine should be complete with residential type exhaust system constructed fully in accordance with engine manufacturer-s recommendation. Exhaust pipes expansion bellows shall be constructed from heavy duty materials. 6. Cooling system: - Radiator: built-in type with sufficient capacity to dissipate the total joules per hour rejected by the engine cooling system at 110 % full load. - Blower fan: to have sufficient pressure to circulate required quantity of air for engine cooling. The fan shall be provided with a suitable guard. Inside temperature should not exceed 56 C ̊. (Two digital thermometer must be installed inside enclosure to monitor inside temperature) - Jacket water heaters: to be provided on engine to facilitate quick starting under low ambient conditions. - The cooling system shall include an engine shaft driven circulating water pump. The water jacket of the engine cylinder shall be so constructed that the water in the jacket can be drained completely.
