• The objective of this assignment is to provide the Social Security Corporation (SSC) with practical, action-oriented recommendations to strengthen the design, implementation, and communication of key short-term social insurance benefits—specifically work injury, family allowances, and sickness benefits. The goal is to support SSC in making these benefits more responsive to the realities of Jordan's evolving labour market, more relevant to workers' and employers' needs, and more effective in supporting social protection objectives under the Estidama++ programme.The assignment will focus on generating practical, evidence-based recommendations that can strengthen both the operational delivery and policy design of these benefits. The analysis will help identify actionable improvements that can be introduced incrementally, while also providing options for more substantive enhancements where feasible.
