Description:
Tenders are invited for Renting Winches for Loading, Transmission and Distribution of Medium Voltage Poles. Fees: JD 60/- non refundable Bid Bond: 5%. An earth rod shall comprise a 14mm diameter steel copper clad rod 1.20-meter long. It shall be complete with hardened steel tip. 1. Rods. The rod core is produced from high grade steel equivalent to BS 4360 Grade 43A which will resist distortion bending during installation. Thickness of electrolitically bonded copper is evenly deposited as a skin over the steel core to a minimum thickness of: 0.25 mm with 99.5% pure copper, the copper can-t be separated from the steel, (even when bent at 90) so no interface corrosion can take place between the steel rod and “copper bonded” skin. 2. Clamps. Ground rod clamp is used to connect (35-70) mm2 copper conductor with a rod .it is a high tensile copper alloy to produce the bodies and tightening bolts withstand a minimum tightening torque of 20NM. a. Electrical characteristics. Assembles tested to 15.000 Amps for 2 seconds b. Quality. The provision of effective earthing, which will remain efficient throughout its installed working life is essential. c. Copper Clad Steel Earth Rod Test. The following type of tests shall be carried out at the expense of the vendor. 1. Mechanical Test. - Tensile Test. - Material composition. - Fitment shall be found satisfactory 2. Copper Layer Thickness 3. Electrical resistivity test The resistivity shall be determined in accordance with BS 2339 by the direct measurement on the strip. The price of the tender copy = 60 dinars.
