Description:
The purpose of this project is for UNRWA to review and map the agency-s existing community-based protection priorities and programming interventions, and to adopt an updated consistent, coherent, and contextualised approach to engagement with community-based organisations on protection. The project will provide the agency with practical guidance on the implementation of an effective engagement approach to achieve protection outcomes, aligned with global standards and adapted to the contextual specificities of each Field Office and local context. It is expected that through the adoption of an agency-wide approach, the agency will improve its ability to support and empower Palestine refugees to promote the protection of their rights at the community-level in UNRWA-s five fields of operation (Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and West Bank, including East Jerusalem).
