Expression of Interest are invited for Preparation of the Investment Case for Cold Chain Logistics for Jordanian Fresh Produce There is a strong need for third party logistics services in Jordan, to improve the freshness (and competitiveness) of Jordanian fresh agricultural produce as it is transported within the country and onward to export destinations. Such logistics providers are largely absent from Jordan for a variety of reasons, including coordination and information failures. This project is seeking a firm that can lead investment promotion efforts for cold chain logistic service providers that transport perishable produce. Using both technical and managerial competencies, the firm would be needed to produce a business case for investment in cold chain logistics for the Jordanian market. The business case should include detailed analysis of quantities of production to be serviced, market competition, and market potential. It should provide information on the costing of routes, climate change impact of routes, competitors in the market and their comparative advantage, marketing analysis and financial analysis. The business case should be summarized in a visually appealing manner that can be shared with investors (report, video, ppts) and should also include an excel model specifying the assumptions and financial returns for a potential investment. Deliverables should be in English and Arabic. The firm will also assist with identifying potential investors (of international caliber) and disseminating these market opportunities to them, virtually and in-person, in Jordan and abroad.
