The World Bank is providing technical assistance to theDepartment of Antiquities (DOA) in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (Jordan) toprepare site management plans for key historical and cultural sites, and in coordinationwith the DOA, invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest inproviding consultancy services for the preparation of Cultural Site ManagementPlans for five cultural heritage sites in Jordan including Jerash, Um Qeis, Tabaqat Fahil, Al Karak Castle, andIraq Al-Amir.Jordan is home to numerous cultural heritage sites ofsignificant historical and cultural value, including the five above-mentioned sites. These sites are not only important for their historical and culturalsignificance but also play a crucial role in the country's tourism industry.The preservation and management of these sites are essential for maintainingtheir integrity and promoting sustainable tourism.
