1. BackgroundThe International Labour Organization (ILO) invites qualified and experienced consultants to assist the operational committee (OC) within the Social Security Corporation (SSC) with the implementation of the Estidama++ Fund - Extension of Coverage and Formalization program. This initiative is designed to promote inclusive social security, address coverage imbalances, and enhance the resilience of vulnerable workers, including refugees and migrants in Jordan. The program aligns with international social security and labour standards and seeks to bridge gaps in social security coverage, with a specific focus on informal vulnerable workers who were excluded from the national social protection response during the COVID-19 crisis. The program also adheres to SSC's inclusive regulatory framework, emphasizing the principle of equality of treatment regardless of nationality or legal status. 2.
