Description:
Tenders are invited for Implementing the Ready to Respond Diagnostic for Improving Emergency Preparedness & Response in Amman. The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), Jordan is seeking to improve capacities in in Emergency Preparedness and Response (EP&R) under the overall agenda for urban resilience and disaster risk management (DRM) as part of the Amman Strategic Plan. The objective of this assignment is to provide technical support to the GAM in assessing and identifying systemic opportunities to develop and improve the overall EP&R system in Amman, and provide concrete recommendations to GAM in formulating an action plan on EP&R. This engagement will help inform future programs and investments in GAM-s EP&R system. Further, the assessment will contribute to improving efficiency, avoiding duplication of efforts, and enhancing the benefits of collaboration among key government and emergency relief stakeholders, focusing on Amman.
