• Expression of Interest are invited for Implementing a Digitalization of Government Payment - Back End Solution. Tender closing date and time: 14 Mar 2021/ 12:00 PM The firm must have the following requirements: Proven minimum 10 years of experience in designing, building, operating in electronic payment services space Demonstrate a portfolio of successful payment systems development and implementation for public or private sectors Knowledge of the Jordan financial and payments ecosystem in general, especially related to digital financial services The firm should have a strong Project Management framework and methodologies suitable to adopting for implementing a multi government entities and large-scale complex project of this nature Having successfully conducted at least 2 full project lifecycle assignments from analysis, design, and implementation, by working closely with a diverse set of stakeholders Ability to place one or more team lead members in Jordan (or working through a local partner) to ensure efficient communication and engagement with key stakeholders Demonstrated ability to translate technical terms into actionable language and recommendation Excellent written and oral language skills in Arabic and English The EoI package should not exceed 15 pages in total and should consist of the relevant documentation listed in the table above, and numbered accordingly. Note: Key staff will not be individually evaluated at the shortlisting stage. The attention of interested providing firms is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank-s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), revised November 2017 and August 2018 setting forth the World Bank-s policy on conflict of interest. The providing firms may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected. The providing firm will be selected in accordance with the Cost and Qualifications Based Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
