Country: Jordan Description of the Assignment: The Humanitarian Affairs consultant is based in the Coordination Support Unit (CSU) for the Whole of Syria (WoS), which is part of the OCHA-s Regional Office for the Syria Crisis (ROSC), based in Amman. The position will be key in improving the efficiency of the Humanitarian Programme Cycle process for Syria. The Humanitarian Affairs Consultant will report and be accountable to the Head of Coordination Support Unit in the Regional Office for the Syria Crisis. He/she will support the Head of OCHA ROSC in ensuring a coherent approach to HPC throughout the WoS. Period of assignment/services six months Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
