Description:
The aim of the assignment is to supportthe strengthening of Energy Efficiency (EE) institutions in Jordan, in particular policy oversight role of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Energy Efficiency and Climate Change Directorate (EECCD) and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEF) by:Reviewing and assessing existing institutional and regulatory arrangements, mandates, and business models for EE in Jordan.Defining clear and complementary roles for EECCD and JREEEF and proposing measures to ensure their institutional and financial sustainability.Enhancing the capacities of EECCD and JREEEF to design, implement, and monitor impactful EE programs and investments.The Consultant is expected to provide strategicadvisory services, sectoral technical assessments, investment profiling, andtailored capacity‑building programs adapted to the Jordanian EE context.
