- Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for Global Climate Fund Accreditation Assistance. Closing Date 30 June 2024 • OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF THE WORK Jordan River Foundation (JRF) is a non-profit organization established in 1995 with a focus on child safety and community empowerment, and has played a major role in the social and economic development, and committed to sustainable development and environmental conservation in Jordan. JRF aims to access funding opportunities to support its climate action initiatives and projects. To achieve this goal, JRF seeks to obtain accreditation with the Global Climate Fund (GCF), which is a global fund dedicated to aiding developing countries in addressing climate change, provides financial support for projects to reduce emissions and enhance resilience to climate impacts, and this step is critical in accessing financial resources for climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts. 1. The primary objective of this consultancy is to provide expert assistance to JRF in completing the accreditation application process for the Global Climate Fund. Specifically, the consultant will: 2. Guide JRF through the accreditation process and requirements outlined by the GCF. 3. Assist in developing and compiling necessary documentation and information required for the application. 4. Provide technical expertise and advice on aligning JRF's projects and initiatives with GCF criteria and standards. 5. Guide the process of developing a comprehensive strategy for engaging stakeholders and demonstrating JRF's capacity to effectively manage GCF resources. • DUTY STATION Hybrid (remote + physical attendance to meet the panel)
