- UNRWA continues to play a vital role in providing humanitarian assistance and essential services to Palestine refugees in Gaza amid the ongoing crisis. As the situation evolves towards early recovery and reconstruction planning, it is crucial to ensure that UNRWA-s operational realities, priorities, and constraints are effectively represented in national, regional, and international fora. To support this, the Strategic Advocacy and Engagement Advisor is needed to strengthen UNRWA-s positioning and advocacy efforts, enhance coordination with partners and Member States, and contribute to policy and analytical outputs that inform decision-making and resource mobilization.- Overall ObjectiveTo lead and coordinate UNRWA Gaza-s strategic advocacy and engagement efforts, ensuring the Agency-s priorities and perspectives are integrated into humanitarian and early recovery planning and that UNRWA-s position is clearly communicated to partners, donors, and relevant stakeholders.
